Richie Jarvis
Shop Owner (he/him)
The owner and founder of Trilogy Tattoos and Piercing is a born and raised Memphian. He graduated from Bartlett High School where he was a standout in cross country and field and track. He attended college at Austin Peay State University. He also served his country in the US Navy. Afterwards, he worked on 2 different NHRA Top Fuel Funny Car Teams. In 1995 he embarked on a new journey of sobriety in a last-ditch effort he made a deal with god that if he stayed sober, god would take care of everything else. This deal led to the founding of Trilogy 3 years exactly after the deal was made, hence the name. It would be difficult to convince Richie that Trilogy was not divinely inspired as he would keep his side of the bargain to this day.
Trilogy opened in June of 1998 with a few artists and a couple of piercers and has been a force to reckon with since, setting the standard for the tattoo and piercing industry in the 901 and surrounding areas. Trilogy has been voted locally as one of the top 3 tattoo and piercing studios every year since opening with numerous awards from conventions and acknowledgments of their peers. Trilogy is currently in its 27th year of business and their founder will celebrate 30 years sober in June.

Mark came to be an artist at Trilogy in 2006! His favorite styles to tattoo are american traditional and spooky things. He loves to cook, play music and travel in his free time as well as spending time with his cats at home!
Eric Cooley

Eric has been a tattoo artist since 1998 and honed his skills with the guidance of Kevin J. He came to Trilogy 16 yrs ago and has been adding fun collectibles to his room ever since! His favorite styles to tattoo are asian traditional, mythology, and weird humanoid figures. In his free time he love listening to and creating music and plays drums for his band.
Sarah Norton

Sarah has been a tattoo artist since 1999. She came to Trilogy 16 yrs ago and loves adding fun art and trinkets to her room! Her favorite styles to tattoo are large scale floral pieces, funky and fun ideas and all things strange. She loves to cook in her free time and makes some killer sweet treats!
Nathan Parten

Nathan has been at our shop for a total of 17 years. He has won Best of Memphis 1st place Tattoo Artist twice and is an award winning pumpkin carver! His favorite things to tattoo is anything weird and strange. He spends his free time hanging out with his kid Max and making pottery.
Abby (Stabby) Brooks

Abby has been at Trilogy since 2021 where she started at front desk which led to an appreticeship at the begining of 2022. She has a funky and whimsical art style and she loves to tattoo animals, plants, trinkets and fun objects as well as nostalgic imagery. She has many hobbies that include aerial acrobatics and hula hooping, vintage shopping, reading, and exploring nature while traveling.
Fun fact: she has two cat children named Dandy and Possum
Cypress Pegram

Cypress started their apprenticeship at Trilogy in 2016 and have been tattooing since then. They like to tattoo with bright colors or stipple shading, psychedelic animals and cartoons. They like writing and drawing comics in their spare time, and watch a lot of cartoons.

Maddie has been at Trilogy since 2018 where she started at front desk which led to an appreticeship in October 2023. She loves to tattoo a cartoonish traditional style. She has many hobbies like playing video games, crafting and sewing, as well as assembling large scale puzzles.

Hi everyone! A bit about myself : I got my start in the industry in 2017, and since have become a respected figure in my field. I am commited to growth and learning, attending industry conferences and seminars to stay updated on the latest advancements and trends in the piercing community. I have been honored with the title of Best Piercer in Memphis as awarded by The Memphis Flyer for three consecutive years, which motivates me to continue pushing the boundaries of Memphis Body Piercing encouraging and educating other local piercers . I take pride in offering my clients a wide range of high quality jewelry from esteemed brands. One aspect of my work that brings me joy is creating unique ear curations. I enjoy working closely with clients to design and execute stunning piercings that meet their desires and aspirations. In addition to ear piercings I specialize in genital work and trauma informed modification with heavy focus on gender affirming modification (ask me about my portfolio).
Outside of my professional life , I've been married for 8 years, and we have raised two very handsome chihuahuas together.
